Krashing Back into the Scene
We have not seen these guys in action in ages! 2015-2016 has had a resurgence of local rock bands, from Jointpop to Tie Dye Kitty but Krash ... we believed we had it on good authority that these guys were done. The Carters were on their own beat, Dax frequently playing with Orange Sky after the band broke up. Vince was cranking new tunes in the SKE band, these progressions seemed to allude to the unlikelihood of the band ever reforming. Little did we know they were planning their big come back in the shadows.

Competition Lynched

Five bands went in. One band came out. The W:O:A metal battle Caribbean has ended and Lynchpin, the death metal band out of Trinidad were the ones crawling out of the pit. For them this means performing in the Waken Open Air stage in Germany. Earlier today Lynchpin declared their victory on Facebook.

W.O.A Metal Battle Caribbean, Supernormal Guitarist Johnathon Agostini Q&A
On April 30th local rock bands The Supernormal Band and Lynchpin will be representing Trinidad in the W.O.A Caribbean Metal Battle Caribbean. Since we last spoke to them at their The Fire Inside Album Launch in April 2015 The Caribbean flavored rock band has been destroying the local rock circuit at major concerts such as Frost Fest 3, Skyy Rock Festival 2 and several shows at The Big Black Box just to name a few. Lynchpin held their fundraiser to support their band's trip, at that event Supernormal band members showed their support for their competition. Their guitarist Johnathon Agostini gave us some his thoughts on the upcoming competition.

The Fire Inside Album Launch
August 27th The Supernormal band launched their debut album (The Fire Inside). Along with guest band Prime 3 the live performance included several of their top jams such as Fishnin, Swaha and Zombies. Band members Andy Rambharat - Lead Vocals / Rhythm Guitar Johnathon Agostini - Lead Guitar Anthony Borde - Bass / Backing Vocals Mitch Ramberan - Drums, cast out their swinging new video for the track Anchors Away to the fans who eagerly made their way to Aria Lounge on Ariapita Avenue for the show.
Behind the album with Andy Rambharat (Lead vocalist and
composer)
Have any bands influenced the album?
White Zombie, Soul Fly, even some local bands like
Jaundis-I, Orange Sky
What is the meaning behind Anchors Away?
Don’t fight the currents of life allow yourself to float and
go where your destiny carries you. Sometimes people fight it and feel like they
have to be in control of everything. It’s just a way of saying let go of
everything sometimes and let life take you and you might not be so stressed out.
