Parliament in Session

Goodnight Parliament hosted their first rock out dubbed “Parliament in Session” alongside Hail the Hatter and Devin Harry Paul in the Randy Sitar Experience. This also marked the Twenty2 Sports Bar’s first rock show. The cozy bar is tucked snuggly under Denny’s Maraval for those hungry rockers after the show.

Unfortunately we barely missed the Randy Sitar Experience however word from the crowd was that it was fantastic. Hail the Hatter hit hard with some hard rock straight out of wonderland. We expect to hear more about these guys in the near future. Goodnight Parliament took to the stage with a flurry of originals, while at the beginning some technical difficulties were rubbed out while Lynchpin’s vocalist threw out their shameless plugs for their Lynchpin vs the World show. After seeing Goodnight Parliament perform a couple of times I am convinced this band can go far. These guys got talent, and Luke Edwards their vocalist really knows how to put on an engaging performance.

Just before the show was over, something unheard of for for rock shows was about to happen. Stuart took the mic to make one last and unexpected announcement. He declared the rock show was officially over, that the rock out was now a book out. Things then turned to the Dj with the old school dancehall and the crowd of rockers near instantly changed hats to embrace the Buju.
