One June 18th LIC Trinidad struck again with a new line up headlining Steve Aoki at a new venue, Jean Pierre Complex. Some of these changes were welcomed while others could use further revision.
Venue
There was minimum traffic, and parking was not an issue. However, what worked for O2 Park was the rustic environment; whereas Jean Pierre Complex felt too unassuming. Could use a little extra decor if it's chosen again as LIC host.

Performances
Jimmy hit the decks first with some mellow house vibes. Had it all nice and relaxed, the crowd really digged the set.
Jerry and Marcus did their thing, short but sweet.
System 32 really got the crowd worked up, but 1st Klase and London Future really had the crowd jumping with some bess CDM tracks.
David Solano - started off soft, but got some momentum halfway through his set. By this time, hoses were fired up. Shit, that thing still burns my eyes! I heard it's also edible, that’s to be confirmed.
The man of the hour was Steve Aoki and he was damn impressive. Was happy to hear "Youth Dem" and "Melody", oh if Dimitri could only come down. Was bummed that he didn't play his Linkin Park collab that would have been a dream come true. Of course the cake flew. The funniest part of the performance was the Titanic remix. Yes! A Titanic remix … not a big remix … we’re talking about Celine Dion - My Heart Will Go On Epic Drop!
The only situation that came up was when Sheldon Blake and Aoki had to constantly tell people to get off the fence boundary. You could actually see the frustration on Sheldon's face. After Aoki's performance, he compared the crowd to his "bad girlfriend" - one who refuses to listen.
Bad Royale kept the Caribbean flavor alive right to the end of the show.
